RIAA - Recording Industry Association of America Not a big fan of their actions against people downloading songs, however, they are they are looking out for the musicians... kind of. Look to see if the Los Viejos Blanquitos album has made Gold or Platinum yet.

Courtney Love Does the Math - This is a great little intro to what the big labels are doing. We at Brick City aren't money hungry corporate slaves. We are college kids trying to learn the music business ropes. We do this for the love of music and we don't personally gain any money from this.

TapeOp - This is another good magazine. This one does much less gear reviews, but has alot of interviews with producers, artists, and music industry people. Best of all this magazine is FREE, but you have to wait a while to get your first issue and they don't always come, but thats what you get with 3rd class mail.
